ENKSAIL ORION
The Enksail Orion is in terms of sailing characteristics a more sporty version, while the Noordkaper and Halcyon are true cruier designs. This aluminium sailing yacht is a design by renowned Dutch designer Kees van de Stadt of Satellite Yacht Design. The Orion range consists of a 49- and 54-footer.
Performance
The Enksail Orion not only has the look of a fast ship, it is. Thanks to a sporty hull shape, this aluminium sailing yacht has little water displacement, making for good sailing with little effort. The hull is made entirely of aluminium. With straight bow, it is a modern ship. Optionally, the ship can be fitted with a centreboard keel, creating a variable draft. The hull is bare aluminium as standard, which has maintenance advantages.
